An evening dedicated to refugee and migrant women

27.09.2018

Metadrasi - arts culture migration metadrasiYou are invited on Thursday, October 4th, at 20:00, in Technopolis City of Athens, to the exclusive screening of the film “Strange strangers: migrant women talking about themselves” and the open discussion on “The role of arts and culture in the social integration of migrant and refugee women” that will follow.

The film depicts a day in the lives of five women from five different countries, who live in Italy: Sihem from Tunisia, Radi from Bulgaria, Sonia from China, Ana from Croatia and Ljuba from Serbia. Intertwining their stories, the narrative weaves together their emotions, joyful moments and challenges experienced in the pursuit of their new identity in a foreign country.

The event is co-organised by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe and METAdrasi.
