A key problem of integration is the limited access of refugees and migrants to education and namely higher education. Aiming to fill this gap, METAdrasi launched a pilot Scholarships project, in April 2021, to widen and facilitate refugee access to higher education. METAdrasi offers academic scholarships for The University of the People, an American-accredited online institution. Scholarships will be offered for various fields of studies.
The University of the People offers degrees in the following fields of studies:
1. Business Administration (M.B.A., BA, AS)
2. Health Care (BA, AS)
3. Computer Science (BA, AS)
4. Education (M.ED.)
Eligibility Criteria
– Very good level of English (or Arabic for those interested in the Business Administration degree)
– High School/Bachelor degree completion
