On the occasion of a unique performance in support of METAdrasi, based on the work of Souris, a satiric Greek poet, our team at the Non-formal Education Center in Chios* dedicated a lesson to his poetry.
A member of our team recounts:
“We gathered all students aged 9-14. We selected the poem “O Pehnidiaris” (Playful). The children were thrilled! At first, we only read the first five verses and encouraged our students to imagine the rest. The children commented on the poem and discussed the different games and their forms as well as the way they affect our lives. Then, they all together created a collage of drawings”.
