A special book presents the photos of the exhibition “The Itinarary”, organized by the Greek Asylum Service in May 2016 in Technopolis of the City of Athens.
11 photojournalists join glances and create, with sensitivity and passion, a record of refugees’ points-stations, in their attempt to reach their respective destination. Locations such as the Aegean islands, Eidomeni, Eleonas, Piraeus, FYROM, Serbia and Hungary. Included are also photos of the countries-starting points of this route, such as Iraq, Syria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
A big thanks to the creators’ team, who offered to support METAdrasi’s actions for unaccompanied children in Greece (Escorting Missions, Transit Accommodation Facilities, Guardianship Network, Foster Families) with the book’s sales proceedings.
The photographers participating are Milos Bicanski, Andrea Bonetti, Dimitris Bouras, Louisa Gouliamaki, Yannis Kolesidis, John Liakos, Menelaos Myrillas, Nick Paleologos, Anna Pantelia, Fotis Plegas G. and Orestis Seferoglou.
