The unaccompanied children of our Samos shelter created the most beautiful jewels

Our children at the Transit Accommodation Facility in Samos decided to delve into the ancient art of jewellery making, impressing us once again with their imagination and creativity.

The unaccompanied children, inspired by nature and wandering stars, created small ornaments that could well be called works of art. Using wire in the colour of gold came and coloured semi-precious stones, they created “cluster of planets” and “exotic flowers”.

With pride the girls admired their treasures adorning their delicate hands.
