Metadrasi - open school metadrasi kypseliTraditional songs and sounds from guitars and bendirs by our students will take us on a journey through “Stories that changed Athens”!

You are all welcome at the celebration of the “Open Schools” programme of the City of Athens, which will take place tomorrow Thursday, May the 31st at 18:30, at the 26th Public School of Kypseli, Fokionos Negri 63.

During this special event, children taking part in METAdrasi’s educational activity “Step2School” will present traditional songs in Greek, Urdu/Punjabi and Farsi, as well as a song composed by them. Their voices will be accompanied by guitars and bendirs, traditional instruments from the Eastern Mediterranean, which was created by the children, under the guidance of their teacher.

“Step2School” activity is implemented with the valuable support and funding by the European Union – Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid.
