With a bag full of M.’s personal belongings—and dreams of a better tomorrow—a member of METAdrasi’s Accompaniment Support team escorted the young Syrian girl from the Reception and Identification Center to a long-term accommodation facility.
It was a special and deeply moving moment for her as she said goodbye to the children she had met at the Center and arrived in a safe environment, carrying hope for a brighter future.
From November 1, 2025, to today, METAdrasi’s Accompaniment Support Department has stood by more than 900 unaccompanied children, ensuring they are accompanied safely.
Since November 2025, METAdrasi’s activity “Escorting missions for unaccompanied children” is implemented in the framework of the project “Strengthening protection systems for unaccompanied migrant children and vulnerable women applicants and beneficiaries of international protection” funded by the National Development Program for the Programming Period 2021-2025 through the Special Coordination and Management Service for Migration and Home Affairs Programmes of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum.
