World Teachers’ Day 2021

05.10.2021

On the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, we warmly thank all our Teachers.

Our educators in Lesvos and in Chios!
The teachers of our educational programmes in Athens and in Thessaloniki!
And of course, our amazing volunteer teachers!

We thank all those who bring the young and older refugees in contact with the Greek language and culture, giving them the “supplies” to develop their spirit and claim a better future.

We share with you the touching words of Matoula, a member of METAdrasi’s team of teachers. “I feel the obligation to help the refugee children to continue their education in Greece. I am proud of each and every one of my students, both for the efforts they make and for the successes they achieve every day! Classrooms are truly more beautiful when they become the meeting point of so many different cultures.
