The unaccompanied children staying in our shelters in Samos and Chios are more than ready for the Christmas holidays and to welcome the New Year.

Even though they are far from their families, they are not alone. Here in Greece, they are surrounded by the people of our teams on the islands — the people who stand by them every day, offering safety, care, and warmth.

Because “family” is also the people who show up, protect, and make room for hope — especially when it’s needed most.

From all of us at METAdrasi, we wish them all the best for the New Year!

Since August 2023, METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facilities for Unaccompanied Minors in Chios and in Samos, operate with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
