More than 200 children experienced and tested themselves in the Olympic sports of taekwondo, wrestling, fencing, rowing and laser run.
The three-day event was organized in Mytilene, by METAdrasi and the Hellenic Olympic Committee, in the framework of “Together in Sport – Phase II”.
The children, as well as their teachers, were filled by enthusiasm as they were being introduced for the first time to the world of the offered sports, promoting values such as respect, team spirit and intercultural acceptance.
We warmly thank all the teachers and students of the Primary School of Loutra, the Primary School of Loutropolis Thermi, the Primary School of Pamphila, the 5th High School of Mytilene and the High School of Pamphila for their warm support and participation.
We also thank the rescuers of the Hellenic Rescue Team of Lesvos for their support throughout the activities.
