A few days ago, three members of METAdrasi’s Guardianship Network for Unaccompanied Minors decided to spend a special afternoon with the unaccompanied children they are supporting, visiting together Allou! Fun Park amusement park. The children could not get enough of the games!

“I recalled the years when I was little, in Damascus, before the war, when we were going to amusement parks with my parents and my siblings” told us 15-year-old Amir.

Amir is trying to remember how it is to be a child. After 7 years of war in Syria, he is alone in Greece, hoping that with the help of the Guardianship Network he will manage to reunite with his family that is in now living in another European country.

Many thanks to Allou Fun Park for their kind offer that gave joy to 26 unaccompanied children!
