A few days ago, our beloved students, accompanied by their teachers Dimitris, Dimitra and Nikoleta, visited Thessaloniki’s Aristotle Museum of Natural History, which recently opened its doors to the public. Students enjoyed a tour of the newly-built museum, which hosts an exhibition called “Minerals and the Man”. Students were impressed by the exhibits and they learned about minerals and their function in the human body. The tour concluded with the screening of a documentary on minerals. We thank Thessaloniki’s Aristotle Museum of Natural History for the tour and their warm hospitality.
METAdrasi’s non-formal education programme continues for the second year in Thessaloniki, which is addressed to adult and minor refugees and migrants. Classes occur daily from 16:00 to 20:00 at a school located in the city centre. Enrollments for the programme take place at METAdrasi’s offices (Vilara str. 7) from 10:00 to 13:00, or at the school from 16:00 to 20:00. Our doors are already open and we await all new enrollments!
METAdrasi makes good use of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Humanitarian Prize in order to implement the educational activity Step2School in Athens and in Thessaloniki.
