Metadrasi - METAdrasi Samos Malala 2

The older girls of METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos had the opportunity to learn about the right to education through the struggle of Malala Yousafzai.

The children were first introduced to Malala’s story and then watched some of her speeches on equal rights in education. Then, through a “storm” of ideas, the girls expressed their views, discussed their dreams, their future and their right to it.

In the end, with a lot of respect and admiration for Malala, the children painted a poster of her, adding their own messages about equality.

METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facility in Samos is funded since June 2020 by EEA Grants in the framework of the Asylum and Migration programme.
