First aid training for young refugees

An essential first aid training was attended by unaccompanied young individuals residing in METAdrasi’s 18+ programme apartments.

“The training helped me a lot. Now, if something happens to a friend of mine, I know how I can help and what I should do,” said 18-year-old A.

Knowledge of first aid is an essential skill for every person’s daily life, especially for young people living alone, far from their families.

The First Aid – Basic Life Support (BLS) seminar, organized by the TechnoEdu.gr training center with the support of UNHCR Greece, provided both theoretical and practical training on managing health emergencies. Following the training, the young refugees received the recognized RTI (Rescue Training International) certification, aligning with international emergency care protocols.
