The Refugee Women Academy is addressed to refugee women or asylum seekers providing comprehensive support for their professional integration into the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Through a combination of vocational training, interview preparation, and job market linkage, participants acquire the necessary skills and tools to enter or re-enter employment.
The training program and support services are provided free of charge.
To support mothers with children aged 3–6, childcare services are provided during class hours.
Program Objectives
- Provision of vocational training in the tourism and hospitality sectors
- Preparation of participants for job interviews (CV preparation, mock interviews, soft skills)
- Support for the issuance of necessary documents
- Connection of participants with the labor market
Participation Requirements
The program is open to:
• Refugee women or asylum-seeking women who live in the greater Attica region
• Women with a good level of English, as classes are conducted in English
• Women committed to attending the full duration of the program

Kitchen Assistants
Kitchen assistants play a key role in many restaurants, as they actively contribute to food preparation. They work under the supervision of the chef and take on specific duties. At the same time, they are responsible for various support tasks, ensuring that the kitchen area remains clean and organized.

Hotel Employee
Employees in the hotel sector work in hotels and other tourist accommodations. During the training, participants will gain basic knowledge related to cleaning, customer service, maintenance, and safety of facilities. In addition, they will become familiar with workplace culture, the principles of professional behavior and proper appearance in the workplace, as well as basic terminology in both Greek and English.
