Collaboration with Al Madad Foundation for the provision of legal support for the family reunifications of unaccompanied minors

Metadrasi - metadrasi legal aid

We are proud to announce our new collaboration with Al Madad Foundation on a project that will provide qualified legal support for the family reunifications of unaccompanied and separated minors.

The average waiting time for family reunifications in other EU countries is 18 months, while 1 in 3 unaccompanied minors has no access to safe shelter. The reunification process is far from straightforward and the delays unnecessarily expose many unaccompanied minors to additional dangers and distress. This project will ensure that a team of qualified legal advisors collaborates with METAdrasi’s guardians to help advance the reunification cases of unaccompanied minors, and will advocate for the improvement of the speed and quality of the process.
