Metadrasi - METAdrasi womens day 1

Refugees, asylum seekers and METAdrasi’s team honored the International Women’s Day with activities dedicated to women.

In the Ritsona camp, a seminar entitled “Sexual harassment in the workplace” was held, where women spoke about their rights.

Similarly, at the Nea Kavala camp, refugee women of different ages and nationalities discussed women’s struggles for the assertion of their rights. The participants watched videos in their own language, expressed their ideas about what it means to be a woman and shared the wisdom of folk traditions, drawing traditional henna designs on each other, symbolizing womanhood and strength!
