Interpretation in hospitals

“You can understand the misunderstandings that may occur on a medical level, when the doctor has to examine a child whose language he does not speak, not being able to communicate”

The Greek National TV Station ERT visited “Panagiotis & Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, where METAdrasi provides interpretation services, through specially trained interpreters/intercultural mediators.

During the last 7 years, METAdrasi has been covering the growing emergency needs for interpretation in hospitals all over Greece, mainly on a volunteer basis. Since March 2018, METAdrasi began, with the support of the Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid of the European Union (ECHO), the provision of interpretation, with daily presence in hospitals in the mainland.
