A few days ago, the Education & Integration Department began its creative activities for young, migrant residents at the First Reception Centre Pournara. Tailored specifically for children aged 4 and above, the educational program facilitates their initial steps in learning the Greek language and in the development of crucial social skills. Classes are held daily, with over 40 enthusiastic children currently participating, filling the classrooms with smiles!
At the same time, Greek language classes for adults have started at the Kofinou Reception and Accommodation Center for Applications for International Protection, with more than sixty registrations in the first two days of the programme. These daily classes not only aim to enhance the language skills of the students but also to acquaint them with the local community and facilitate their gradual integration into the labor market.
Already, dozens of individuals are benefiting from METAdrasi Greek language courses, helping their integration and empowerment within the community.
