A blend of authentic music and theatre filled METAdrasi’s Homework and Creative Activities Centre in Thessaloniki.

The musicians-actors of the Wind-Up Penguin Theatre Company helped our young students discover their talents, providing unique moments of inspiration and entertainment, but also giving a sense of hope, demonstrating the transformative and healing abilities of the arts.

Our students had the chance to engage directly with music, experimenting with the clarinet, the cello, and the flute.

We warmly thank the Wind-Up Penguin Theatre Company for this visit, which served as a poignant reminder of the significance of creativity, empathy, and solidarity.

Since September 2021, METAdrasi’s  Homework and Creative Activities Centre in Thessaloniki is part of the “All Children in Education” Programme, an initiative of UNICEF Greece in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration & Asylum, co-funded by the European Union, which is implemented in coordination with a number of partners, including METAdrasi.
