Starting school

01.11.2016

With great pleasure the two young sisters from Syria crossed the school’s gate, having been deprived of their right to education for a long time, due to the war.

Sevi, the member of METAdrasi’s Guardianship Network for Unaccompanied Minors who has undertaken their support, describes: “Once we met, I made sure to register them at the local school in the area where they are hosted. The girls went crazy with joy! Since they started their classes, they text me messages with smiles everyday! At school they encountered a pleasant atmosphere and have already made friends. They are so happy! Now they feel they can dream and build their future!”
