In the framework of the “Together in Sport – Phase II” project, METAdrasi organizes information meetings for employees on child protection issues, with emphasis on the refugee issue, the characteristics of countries of origin, the characteristics of unaccompanied minors, etc., in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Vulnerable Persons & Institutional Protection of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum and international organizations.
The first three trainings took place on 15, 16 and 17 July in the Municipality of Kallithea, with the participation of the employees of the Municipality’s childcare centres. METAdrasi’s trainers and the General Secretariat for Vulnerable Persons and Institutional Protection presented to the participants important information on child protection, which will be useful for them both in their lives and in their professional activity.
We warmly thank the 82 participants, the staff of the nursery school “Sokratous 131” for their warm hospitality, as well as the Municipality of Kallithea.
The information meetings last 4 hours and can be held at any organization upon request. Contact e-mail: togetherinsport@metadrasi.org.
