Little Farid* chose to dress up as Spiderman, “because he can jump from building to building, to fight the bad people and save the good ones”.

Farid is 10 years old and comes from Afghanistan. At his homeland he could not attend school, while intense conflicts in his region forced him to attempt the dangerous journey to Greece, along with two underage relatives. Since April 2016, the three children are accommodated in our facility in Lesvos. In Autumn Farid enthusiastically began school, making great efforts. He is also a dynamic member of a local soccer team and has impressed our team with his creativity: he finds ideas for crafts and constructions and looks for materials to implement them on his own.

We wish Farid and every child like Farid success in their little and great efforts in their lives!
