A bag filled with clean clothes—like the ones METAdrasi distributes to people in vulnerable situation —was prepared by a METAdrasi Guardian for an unaccompanied boy she has been appointed to support, who had to be hospitalised for a few days.
Clean clothes may seem like a small thing, but in cases like this they become truly important—especially because they can help unaccompanied children feel that they are not completely alone.
This is what Guardianship means: standing by unaccompanied children, defending their rights, and working to safeguard their best interests.
Since 01/11/2023 the activity is implemented by METAdrasi as the coordinating partner and PRAKSIS as a supporting partner, under the “National Guardianship System” with funding from the “Programme Greece – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021-2027”, co-financed by the European Union.
