A new school year begins, opening yet another meaningful chapter for the unaccompanied children hosted at METAdrasi’s accommodation facility in Samos.
With new books in their hands, smiles on their faces, and plenty of excitement and dreams for the year ahead, the children returned to their classrooms today, ready for another year of learning, creativity, and new experiences.
For the children in our shelter, school is much more than a place to learn. It is a space where they gain new experiences, build relationships, grow stronger, and gradually find their place within the school community.
We are especially happy to celebrate the progress of Z., who, after successfully completing the second year of lower secondary school, is now moving on to the third year!
Because every new school year is another step forward.
Wishing all children a wonderful school year!
Since August 2023, METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos, operates with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
