The unaccompanied children living at METAdrasi’s shelter on Samos discovered another beautiful corner of the island.
Starting from the picturesque beach of Mourtia, we set off towards Mikri Lakka along a trail through lush greenery. Along the way, we passed a cave at the old quarry before reaching a secluded pebble beach, where pine trees stretch right down to the sea.
The children loved the hike and were delighted by the scenery. And their wish at the end of the day was the perfect way to round off our adventure: more outings like this one!
Since August 2023, METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos, operates with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
