A.S., a young girl from Egypt, fulfills her dreams and embarks on a new life with the help of METAdrasi’s Academic Guidance Counselling programme!
Vakalo College of Art & Design was the first educational institution to respond to our request, generously granting a scholarship to A.S., one of METAdrasi’s students, in order to attend a one-year Digital Design workshop.
The course has just started, and A.S. shares her enthusiasm. “I was so excited to be here from day one! I am creatively anxious to meet the course’s high standards, but I am determined to succeed. I am grateful to the School for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a team!”
With the guidance of the programme’s Academic Counselor, and the dedication and constant support of our teacher, A.S. is pursuing her lifelong passion for photography and video production. Her love for art is what motivates her to enhance her proficiency in Greek in order to engage even more actively in her classes and fully participate in the School’s activities.
We warmly thank Vakalo College for their sincere interest and trust in our cause. We wish A.S., but also to all refugees and migrants who are doing their best to integrate into the Greek educational system and assert their rightful place in our society, a successful and fulfilling academic year.
