Christmas in action

08.01.2020

Unaccompanied children that reside in METAdrasi’s Transit Accommodation Facility in Chios, celebrated Christmas in a unique way.

Dressed up and in good spirits, the children ran to the island’s main square, where a Christmas “kiosk” was waiting for them. This kiosk, provided to METAdrasi by Chios Municipality, was staffed with volunteers. Together, volunteers and children made unique crafts and played traditional Greek games. Lots of treats were offered to everyone!

It was a very special Christmas, not only for our children, but also for everyone that had the opportunity to celebrate with them!
