During the training, METAdrasi gave examples of the principles and the techniques of interpretation at hospitals, informed the participants on the use of the language identification tool as well as on the monthly program of interpretation coverage (sent by METAdrasi to each hospital’s Administration and social services) and distributed printed information material.
The training was attended with particular interest by more than 100 employees from various departments of the hospitals, specifically doctors, nurses and administrative staff.
The provision of interpretation services by METAdrasi in hospitals is being implemented with the support of European Commission’s Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations Department (ECHO).
