METAdrasi has started operating the vibrant community center within the Polykastro Facility in Nea Kavala at the end of June.
The center offers Greek language courses for adults, operates a lending library, and provides residents with the opportunity to print their documents. Additionally, from the beginning of July, creative activities for the children of the Facility began with enthusiastic participation!
With the valuable support of the Facility’s management, the center was organized and equipped with the necessary resources for its smooth operation. The residents showed great interest in METAdrasi’s programs and activities, and actively participated in the needs assessment process to better organize these activities.
A particularly encouraging aspect is the involvement of volunteers from the Facility’s own community, who support the center by teaching English.
