Mini Lexicon for Basic Communication in 6 languages – Arabic, Farsi, Sorani, Kurmanji, Urdu and French – is a valuable tool aiming to facilitate day-to-day communication between refugees and migrants with Greek or English-speaking persons.

METAdrasi participated in the creation of this dictionary, which covers the basic vocabulary and useful phrases for information on matters relating to living conditions, health, protection etc, including special chapters for women and unaccompanied children.

With great joy we welcome a new, important step: the Mini Lexicon is now available on app for Android and iOS!

Today, we navigated on the application, during a special presentation, to which took part “The Cube” that designed it, as well as Mini Lexicon’s contributors – UNHCR, EADAP and METAdrasi.

We warmly thank the Embassy of Switzerland for their initiative and significant support to this effort!

You may find more info regarding Mini Lexicon as well as digital publications available online for downloading and printing, here.

Find “Mini Lexicon” app on Playstore or Appstore.
