Our young students in two schools in Athens had the opportunity to attend a musical theater performance by Wind-Up Penguin Theatre Company. With enthusiasm, the children let the play carry them away, through a beautiful allegorical story on peaceful coexistence and respect for diversity.

Warm thanks to Wind-Up Penguin Theater Company, 8 actors and musicians from London who have been traveling around the world since 2012, offering entertainment to refugees and other vulnerable populations, presenting stories accompanied by music.

METAdrasi’s educational activity for refugee and migrant children Step2School is implemented with the support of European Commission’s Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations Department (ECHO) and in cooperation with the “Open Schools” of the Municipality of Athens, which operates with Stavros Niarchos Foundation as exclusive donor.
