Metadrasi - METAdrasi Samos shelter 1

In order to admire the beautiful flamingos, we visited together with the unaccompanied children of our accommodation facility in Samos the wetland of Aliki. And the pink flamingos, true to their appointment as every year, were there, having found safe shelter in the wetland until spring, when they will continue their migratory journey.

The children spent time observing the impressive flamingos and other birds in the wetland, and then took advantage of the good weather to stroll along the beach at Psili Ammos.

The children discussed and drew what they observed before we all returned to the accommodation facility filled with beautiful images!

Since August 2023, METAdrasi’s Accommodation Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Samos operates with the support of the Migration and Home Affairs Funds (TAMEY), co-funded by the European Union.
