Our young students of the Homework and Creative Activities Centre are the stars of robotics!

18.05.2023

Our young students of METAdrasi’s Homework and Creative Activities Centre are the stars of robotics: they managed to win the 1st place in the national competition for primary school students “STEAM for All 2023”.

Our students, with the help of their math teacher, built a robotic hand with recyclable materials, which mimics the movements of a real hand! The challenge they accepted turned into an important activity of learning the science of robotics, collaboration and creativity.

Today, we proudly followed our students at the online awards ceremony, along with all the participants in the competition. Congratulations to all!

The “STEAM for all” competition was co-organized by the Center for STEM Education of Anatolia College in collaboration with the STEMigrants.eu teachers’ initiative, under the auspices of UNHCR GREECE.

METAdrasi’s Homework and Creative Activities Centre in Athens, operates within the framework of the programme “All Children In Education”, a UNICEF Greece initiative, co-funded by the European Union and implemented by a number of partners, including METAdrasi.
